New Audi A4

The new Audi A4 facelift to launch in India in January 2021. The Audi sedan is now available for booking on the Audi India website and at the carmaker’s dealerships across the country. Buyers can book Audi sedan against a payment of Rs 2 lakh.

The new Audi A4 is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder TFSI petrol engine generating a power of 140 kW(190 hp) and 0-100 in 7.3 Sec. This is the first model launch by the luxury car maker in 2021. The new Audi A4 is inline with the model recently launched in International market. 

This is the 5th generation A4 and is the second update to the A4 model in India. The model was discontinued this year after the introduction of new BS6 emission norms. As compared to the outgoing model, new Audi A4 gets comprehensive changes. The updated design lines give the sedan a sleeker, more aggressive stance with revised front, new headlamps, new DRLs and a new wider grille.

Revised Rear bumper and LED tail lamps. Profile is also updated with athletic body lines, 18″ 5-arm-trapezoid design wheels with a bi-color finish that are accented by high-gloss black exterior trim along the front grille, window surrounds, and front and rear lights.

Inside, the cabin design is quite similar with updates like a larger free-standing 10.1-inch touchscreen. The new Audi A4 Sedan, also gets leather seats with contrast stitching. While the previous A4 was available with a 150hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol, this facelifted car will be offered with a more powerful 190hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard, with power sent to the front wheels. There will be no diesel engine option.

The new Audi A4 is expected to start in the region of Rs 40-42 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with Mercedes C-Class and BMW 3 series.
