JCB India largest Parts Centre inaugurated at Bhaproda, Haryana. The facility spread over 1,50,000 square feet will provide Parts Support to the Northern Indian Region. It will cater to 15 Dealer locations and contribute almost 40% to JCB’s Parts Business in India. Located on the 4 lane NH 334B near Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, the route enables quick connectivity towards the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and critical customer
bases in North India.
Inaugurating the new Parts Centre, Mr. Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India Limited said, “This location gives us the unique advantage of having access to trained manpower, future scalability options and an approach to all major highways. By investing in this state-of-the-art warehouse infrastructure, we have continued to remain committed to the India Growth Story for over four decades. It will help in developing a local ecosystem for JCB machine owners and dealers and will also provide employment opportunities to more than 100 people, including women”.
The JCB India Parts Centre is a modern state-of-the-art facility, having one of the highest standards for safety and energy efficiency. While SAP enables accurate control over inventory and transactions, the TOC concept ensures material availability at the site and at the dealer’s end. Its fire-fighting equipment includes roof sprinklers, fire alarms and a fire detection system. The warehouse’s energy efficiency is designed to bring about 60% reductions in energy consumption.
With this, JCB India’s total warehouse capacity has increased to 3,10,000 sq feet covering five locations in India, including Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Guwahati. Establishment of these warehouses at strategic locations is aimed at a more efficient inventory management process and quicker shipping turnaround for customers.
JCB has one of the widest dealer networks in the country. Each of its 60+ dealers and more than 700 outlets has trained manpower and adequate parts stock at each of its locations. This ensures customers get professional product support. The company has integrated digital technology into its operations through the JCB Genuine Parts Application. This enables customers to order parts online for their JCB machines.
JCB India has also launched a QR code-based Genuine JCB Parts authentication for its customers. JCB machines also have an advanced telematics technology called JCB LiveLink. Through this, machines can be tracked and monitored in real-time. This technology also provides updates on Service, Operations and Security of the machine, online or through a mobile application. Till date, there are approximately 1,60,000 LiveLink enabled JCB machines on the road. Additionally, an internal tool, Smart Serve has been developed to help dealerships support engineers to improve efficiency and productivity and also reach customers in remote areas, thus helping in machine uptime.
