Trimmed in high-quality materials throughout, the expansive shapes and technical forms of the cabin create a youthful and luxurious vibe. With chic design details, such as metallic highlights in the air vents and a broad, sweeping dashboard, the cabin also maintains a focus on technology, creating a modern ambience to appeal to young-at-heart, tech-savvy buyers.
The grab-bar on the passenger side of the center console adds a sporty feel. It even gets a large front center armrest and an electronic hand brake near the twin cup holders. Interiors are finished in premium black and tan colour combination which does look upmarket.
First glance at the dashboard of Kia India SUV and you can see the huge 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system which is horizontally placed providing seamless access to a range of features. It seems to have a large coloured display in the center of the instrument cluster similar to the concept shown at 2017 Auto Expo.
The center console beneath the large touch screen has access to features – such as ventilation and automatic climate control – to be adjusted easily and safely on-the-move. The automatic gear lever looks beefy. Kia’s Sound Mood Lighting technology can alter the cabin’s ambient lighting to suit occupants’ preferences, creating a high level of personalized driving experience.
Kia Motors is all set to launch the mid-SUV, which possesses the space and capabilities of a traditional SUV in a compact package,in the second half of 2019. The car’s trial production commenced on 29th January 2019 and will be manufactured at Kia’s state–of-the-art facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
