MyChoize self-drive cars is going all out to capture a large chunk of the self-drive car market in India, which is mostly being operated by small angel investor funded companies at present. MyChoize is a brand owned by the ORIX group, which is Japan’s largest self-drive car rental company. ORIX group operates with more than 63,000 cars. The company presently operates across nine major cities in India – Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad with over 300 cars.
On the Occasion of its first anniversary, MyChoize announces an adrenaline packed supercar experience for its Indian users. MyChoize users can now self-drive their choice of supercar on the Budha International Circuit for 30 minutes.
Mr. Sandeep Gambhir, MD and CEO of ORIX India said “We are happy and absolutely thrilled to present our users with this once in a lifetime opportunity to be behind the wheels of a supercar and experience its thrill. MyChoize is all about counting memories and creating unique user experiences, and selfdrive supercars shows the extent to which we at ORIX go to give our users the elegance they deserve with the experience they desire”.
ORIX India has tied up with Rally Motors, stockist of supercars and exotic cars based out of NCR for this program. MyChoize will provide a unique, one of its kind auction facility on its website where users are required to register for the same starting 29th April, 2017. Post the two hours long bidding window, highest bidder would be chosen to drive a supercar of their choice on BIC, Noida. This real-time auction system would allow users to watch what other users are bidding to tweak and increase their own bids. Each and every new bid extends the bidding window by 30 seconds. Now that you know, it’s a bid to drive supercars on an international circuit, it’s got to be expensive! Well, not in your dream could you imagine the starting bid – INR 100.
Now that you know, it’s a bid to drive supercars on an international circuit, it’s got to be expensive! Well, not in your dream could you imagine the starting bid – INR 100. The starting bid of INR 100 and incremental bids of INR 50 for cars such as Audi R8 and Porsche Carerra S and others looks like everyone would like the hammer to go down on them. However, the company would not use the funds raised through auction internally, rather plans to donate to various charities to help provide easy and cheap transportation to school going children in India’s villages.
While ORIX India has been serving in India for almost 20+ years with several business verticals Car Rentals, Car Leasing, Employee Transportation Solutions, SME Lending, Service Centres, Self-Drive Car Rentals, Shuttles and Commercial Vehicle Finance, MD and CEO of ORIX India exclusively revealed their plans to enter the very lucrative and high demand affordable housing sector in the coming months.
