Tata Tiago launched at INR 3.20 lakhs (Ex- Showroom, Delhi)

The entry level hatchback, Tata Tiago was launched today. Tiago is introduced with 5 petrol and 5 diesel variants (XB, XE, XM, XT and XZ). The hatchback previously known as Zica has an introductory pricing of INR 3.20 lakhs INR (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) for the base petrol model going upto 4.75 lakhs for the top end petrol variant. Tata Tiago Revotorq Diesel base model starts at INR 3.95 lakhs while the range topping XZ variant is priced at INR 5.54 lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi)

Tata Tiago hatchback to rival Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Wagon R, Hyundai Grand i10 etc. Powered by a Petrol 3 Cylinder 1.2 liter Revotron MPFi – DOHC – 4 valves per Cylinder churning out 85 PS power (At 6000 rpm) with 114 Nm Torque (At 3500 rpm) with 5 speed manual transmission and a diesel 3 Cylinder 1.05 liter Revotorq CRAIL – 4 Valves per cylinder churning out 70 PS power (At 4000 rpm) with 140 Nm Torque (At 1800-3000 rpm) with 5 speed manual transmission. Both petrol and diesel engines deliver class leading ARAI fuel efficiency figures of 23.84 km/l and 27.28 km/l respectively.

In terms of safety Tiago comes with ABS and Dual Airbags on the top end variant XZ, but the basic XE, XM and XT variants can be opted with the safety pack by paying INR 18,000 extra. This optional pack includes – Dual airbags, driver seat height adjustment, adjustable headrests, full fabric seats and front seat belts with pre-tensioner and load limiters.
