Honda Jazz a five door hatchback was discontinued in India in February 2013 after the dismal sales figures of an average 400 units per month. The petrol 1.2 i-Vtec four – cylinder engine produces 88 PS of power and 109 NM of torque, on the other hand the 1.5 liter four cylinder diesel engine is capable of 100 PS power and 200 NM torque.

The new Jazz is based on the new Honda City’s platform and now carries Honda’s new Exciting H design philosophy. The front is adorned with a hexagonal grille with a bold logo. The hatchback is resigned for a fresher look with new wing mirrors, new front and rear bumpers, new chrome and matte black headlight accents and a new design tail lamps. the interiors have been given a new fresher look with a new dashboard design and is somewhat similar to the new Honda City. It is expected to be high on safety features with ABS, EBD brake assist and air bags.
