Jaguar has launched the XF in a new avatar called the Executive Edition in India. Jaguar XF Executive Edition is equipped with a 2.2 litre Diesel engine churning out 187 BHP and 450 NM of Torque. The 2.2 Litre diesel motor is mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission.

The Jaguar XF Executive Edition is basically low on features as compared to the standard Jaguar XF 2.2 litre resulting in a price cut of roughly INR 4.5 Lakh. The price cut has bought down the prices to INR 45 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Mumbai). In January, the company had launched a petrol variant of Jaguar XF in the country, priced at Rs 48.3 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The Executive Variant is low Specced but is still loaded with a Touchscreen Infotainment, Navigation system, a full size spare wheel mood lighting, electronic front seats, electrically powered exterior mirrors and Jaguar Smart Key system with key less start. The major features which have been excluded in comparison to the standard XF 2.2  are rear camera, electric sunroof and a TV tuner
