Hyundai Elite i20 gets 60,000 bookings within 4 months of launch, bags the 2015 Indian car of the year award (ICOTY). Hyundai is the only car manufacturer to have one Indian automobile industries highest honor two successive times. After assessment and voting the elite i20 defeated Maruti-Suzuki Ciaz and Honda City.

The Second Generation i20 is based on a new design with a highly luxurious cabin and a more European exterior styling. The Petrol variant starts from INR 4.99 Lakhs for the base model and the top of the line model at INR 6.56 Lakhs and the oil burner variants start from INR 6.09 Lakhs to INR 7.66 Lakhs. Elite i20 is powered by a 1.2 litre petrol engine churning out 83 ps of power and torque of 114 nm and a 1.4 litre CRDi diesel motor generating 90 ps of power and peak torque of 220 nm.
The hatchback is loaded with one of the highest features in its segment such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), four-passenger airbags and reverse-parking camera. Other features include multi-steering mounted audio controls, Bluetooth integrated 2 Din audio with USB and Aux-in and 1GB internal storage, rear AC vents, push start-stop button and automatic temperature control.
