2015 Mercedes GLS SUV Spied

2015 Mercedes GLS SUV is bound to launch next year. The GLS SUV is expected to get minor cosmetic update. The Spy Pictures show changes to the front and rear bumper, hood, the headlamp cluster, new tail lights and front grille. The 2015 Mercedes GLS is expected to retain the engine setup but might get the new 9 speed Automatic Gearbox, which was recently launched in the GLE coupe. The present GLS is powered by the 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine with a 190 kw power at 3600 RPM with a top speed of 220 Km/h mated to a 7 speed automatic transmission.

The present Mercedes GL class will get new nomenclature in the form of GLS. Similar to what has been followed for the M – Class, which will now be named as GLE and a lower variant SUV as GLC. The GLS SUV having the new addition of S signifies to be the S – Class of Mercedes SUV line up.
