Yamaha India sales rise in October. Yamaha sold 54,362 units to gain 5 % increase in two – wheeler sale as against 51,808 vehicles in October last year, the company has been showing a northward trend in its sales figures as it registered a healthy 27% increase in September sales as well. The company sold 59,325 units in September 2014 as against 46,790 units sold in September last year The company gained with the introduction of Alpha scooters, FZ series Bike and SZ – RR version in the lineup of their two wheeler offerings. They have been instrumental in boosting sales to higher ranks.Also the introduction of attractive offers to lure their prospective buyers ahead of the festive season helped them to a large extent.
Vice President (Sales & Marketing) Roy Kuriansaid: “The incessant growth reinforces our belief in our business and strategic outlook.The recent launches and innovative customer-connect programmes helped garner major sales for us and we certainly hope this sales trend will continue in the coming months as well.”
Presently Yamaha offers the following products in India – Fazer , FZ-S , FZ , FZ Version 2.0, FZ-S Version 2.0, SZ-S, SZ-R & SZ-RR , YZF-R15 Version 2.0 , SS125 , YBR 125 , YBR 110 , Crux and Ray , Ray Z and Alpha Scooters. Its import portfolio includes VMAX , YZF-R1 and FZ1.
