Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift version has been launched in India with Improved fuel efficiency at a price range of INR 4.42 to 6.95 lakh (Ex – Showroom, Delhi).

The new version launched by Maruti Suzuki has an improved fuel efficiency figures, with some feature additions inside – out. The diesel variant now has an ARAI certified mileage of 25.2 Km/Liter which is an improvement of 10% compared to the previous version. The Petrol version now claims an ARAI certified figures of 20.4 Km/Liter which is roughly 9.6% improvement over the outgoing version.

“The Swift now comes with improved fuel efficiency of 10 per cent and a rich equipment list like push start button, a 60:40 split rear seat, electric retractable outside mirrors, reverse parking sensor and others,” MSI Executive Director Marketing & Sales, R S Kalsi said in a statement.

Prices for the new refreshed Maruti suzuki Swift starts at INR 4.42 lakh to 5.59 lakh for the petrol variant where as the diesel variant starts at INR 5.56 lakh going up to 6.95 lakh for the top fully loaded variant.

Petrol variant is powered by a 1.2 liter engine churning out 83.1 BHP reduced from the previous figures of 85.8 BHP. Now with the enhanced fuel efficiency figures Swift now claims to be the most fuel efficient vehicle in its segment. The facelift now includes Retractable and Adjustable ORVMs, 12 spoke alloy wheels, Reverse parking sensor’s with display, new audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted call and audio controls, I-key entry, Push Button start stop and new fabric upholstery.
