Fiat Avventura Launch Details

Fiat will launch the Avventura in NewDelhi today. Avventura made its global debut at the Auto Expo this year. The Punto based crossover which is likely to challenge the VW Cross polo and Toyota Etios Cross, will make its way to production first in India.

The crossover vehicle will borrow the Petrol and Diesel engines from the Punto Evo line up. The 1.4 Fire engine churns out 88.73 BHP at 6000 RPM and an impressive 115 NM torque at 4500 RPM, while the highly acclaimed 1.3 multijet diesel engine is capable of 91.6 BHP at 4000 RPM and 209 NM Torque at 200 RPM. Both the engines are paired to a 5 speed manual gear box, powering the front wheels. The engines are ARAI rated at 14.4 KM/L for the Petrol and 20.5 KM/L for the Diesel.

The Fiat engineers have re-tuned the engines to give a better lag free driving experience

Avventura sports a 205 mm ground clearance equipped with 205/55 16 inch alloys standard on all variants. The spare wheel has been mounted on the hatch to give it a more rugged crossover look. In terms of the dimensions the vehicle measures 3389 mm in length, 1706 mm in width with a 2510 mm wheel base.
