Chrysler recalls trucks in USA to prevent false warnings from tire pressure monitor systems. The recall is scheduled in two different campaigns affecting a total of 33,443 trucks. Chrysler states that there has been no injuries or accidents reported due to the recall issue.
In the first campaign a total of 23,053 RAM Promaster commercial vans manufactured in 2014 have been recalled. a total of 10,390 Jeep Wrangler SUV’s and Dodge Grand Caravan/Chrysler Town & Country minivans manufactured in 2014 have been recalled in the second recall campaign. Owners will be notified by the country as to when the service is scheduled and will be covered under FOC (Free of Charge)
Company will reconfigure the tire pressure monitor system to disable the test module that has been left on by the supplier, which is the cause to an in accurate tire pressure reading.
