Sadhu pul (Bailey Bridge)

Sadhu pul that was built 105 years back connecting tourist destination chail collapsed yesterday when a truck carrying apples tried crossing the bridge. Bailey bridge has a capacity of 9 tonne, whereas the truck was nearly 18-23 tonnes.
Commuters are adviced to take salogra-ashwnini khud or the shimla-kufri-chail route till the bridge is repaired and made operational again.
