The Delhi Government has come up with a new proposal to keep a check on vehicular pollution under which motorist will  have to show pollution under control certificate at Petrol stations in order to refuel their vehicles. This decision was taken at a high level meeting in capital chaired by chief secretary S K Srivastava. The recommendation by an expert committee in this regard was presented and was accepted by Mr. S K Srivastava.
Before the implementation of this recommendation a special drive will be undertaken to educate people and other stakeholders about the issue so that people voluntarily abide by the directives. Government in the coming weeks will take measures to upgrade the required infrastructure.
