Triumph Street Triple 765 launches on June 12 in India!

2017 Triumph street tripleTriumph Street Triple 765 is scheduled to launch in the Indian market on 12 June. With multiple variants on offer, we expect not all the variants to be introduced here. The manufacturer might introduce only one variant initially and would later follow-up with more variants. We would be updating live tomorrow from the live event.

The 2017 Street Triple range is capable of providing its riders a grin while taking on urban roads for every day fun or tackling a race circuit. The latest range is lighter than its predecessor with an all new gull wing swing arm with stylish body work and black finish main and sub frame.

Equipped with rider focused technology, the Triumph Street Triple range gets ride-by-wire throttle, two riding modes, ABS and switchable traction control. The latest iteration gets a revised intake system with an all new exhaust system. The 765cc three-cylinder triple S is tuned to deliver 113PS at 11,250 rpm and an impressive torque of 73Nm at 9,100 rpm. Street Triple R gets even more torque with 118PS at 12,000rpm and 77Nm at 9,400rpm. The top of the line Triumph Street Triple RS gets an astounding torque of 77Nm at 10,800 and 123PS at just 11,700 rpm (Let me tell you, in the UK RS variant comes with Brembo M50 monobloc front disk calipers, fully adjustable Showa ‘big piston’ forks, fully adjustable rear monoshock, an additional track driving mode and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres)

2017 Triumph street triple riding modesIn terms of riding features, Triumph Street Triple gets a ride-by-wire throttle, ABS, switchable two riding modes and switchable traction control system, LED positioning lamp, under seat storage, programmable rev lights, LCD instrument cluster to select different riding modes, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge and the journey distance amongst other readings.

The 2017 Triumph Street Triple might be assembled in India with an expected price of INR 8 lakhs, directly competing with Kawasaki Z900 and Ducati Monster 797.
